LAKNAVARAM
Laknavaram Lake was built by king Ganapathi Deva, a prominent Kakatiya ruler who reigned from 1199 to 1262. Credited with several irrigation projects to support the Deccan's rich agricultural traditions, his developing of Laknavaram Lake is considered a remarkable engineering feat during his reign.
The Lake consists or 13 scattered islands with a combined surface area of about 10,000 acres. They played an important role in the sustenance of the Kakatiya empire. 'Island Three' on which The Cove By Freakouts stand is all of 3.5 acres.
